'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' is a settlement on the [[Survival 6]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]]. It is based on Retriever and is currently the premiere community city build on Survival 6. The city was conceptualized by {{Player|AwesomeTom21}} and {{Player|Wanderer_06}} in May 2023 being built around the long standing [[Tom's Tatties]] brand, which was established by AwesomeTom21 in Survival 5.

==About==
The City of Tattington is the latest in a long line of large scale community built cities on the Dogcraft server. In contrast to some of its recent predecessors such as the City of Leon and the City of Gaia, it has a more casual approach to building design, allowing the city to be more accessible to players of all building abilities. The city is designed to be a European style city, with blends of classical and modern architecture.

The city is centred around the Palace of Tattington, which was designed by ''AwesomeTom21'' and {{Player|Ze_Tais}}. The Palace is situated atop a large hill, providing a great 360° vantage point of the city. Surrounding the palace is a large set of walls. The hill the palace sits atop is home to the main base of operations of Tattington. Similar to the Leon Hole, the Tattington Tunnel contains a storage area, lots of essential farms and a postal area for the convenience of Tattington Builders and Council Members.

==Areas in the City==

===Palace Square===
The Palace Square area is currently the area that is seeing most development in the City. It's a plot based area on the north side of the palace, where players can apply to design a build on the Dogcraft Sandbox world, before building it in Survival on the server.

==History==
Tattington was founded on Survival 6's launch day on the 16th of December. Progress was steady throughout the month of January, with work being spearheaded by AwesomeTom21 and kfr4014 on establishing the Tattington Tunnel to provide the needed resources to start work on the main construction of the city. Tattington officially opened for community builds on the 27th of January 2024, with players being encouraged to build their creations on the replica of the City on the Dogcraft Sandbox world first. A large scale dig session was held on the 11th of February, which aimed to take down a large mountain to make way for the initial palace square area. A lot of progress was made on this area and it was later completely removed over the following days thanks to the help of {{Player|ArchitectEagle}}, {{Player|_Cambo}}, {{Player|Elednor89}} and {{Player|Mika_Panda}} among others.

Builds would start being constructed in Survival throughout the month of March, as the palace was slowly built up in Survival. These included {{Player|Cosm1c_Moonl1ght}}'s house as well as {{Player|SummerFlower1234}}'s courtroom which would also feature in the March 2024 CDNN episode.

==Tattington Citizens==

Citizenship is given out to any players that have helped significantly with the project. This includes building a house in the City or helping in a more general way consistently. The City Member role is the base role for citizenship, players that continue to help in a consistent manner may then be awarded the City Builder role, which signifies them as a key figure for the development of the city. Finally, the Council Member role is awarded to people who are responsible for planning future developments for the city, and responsible for giving directions and help for people wanting to build in the City.
== SRN Updates ==
Hey Cyberdogs! As you may have seen, we opened both Grand Central Stations this month! The opening event was hosted by Minda905 alongside many other Line Managers, and a Head Hunt was held around both stations, with some exclusive prizes for completing! To end the event, XPModder opened the second Sheltie East Station called Waters Edge! It was at this point that Rendog showed up and got a tour around the network which was awesome! Progress has continued on several main lines. Sheltie West Station, Rouge Manor Station and Lighthouse Station are coming along very well! Sheltie East 3 is also being built at the site of the Statue Building Competition. darparniox hosted a build session for the Retriever North Line this month too, where the rest of the line was completed as well as a large chunk of the station. eybwam also hosted another build session, to finish the line between Spawn and the Copacawama viaduct. 5MileSmile will be building the first east station there! Many branch lines are also taking shape, with HeavyDork extending his branch line to reach the bases of Syphero and Magmazen. On Sheltie Aurum has also built a station and is working with Chemi to connect it up to the South Line. Things are continuing to move very fast for the SRN, tune in next month for more updates![[File:SRN-Vectorized-Logo.png|center|frameless|700x700px]]

== RHN Updates ==
RHN has finally started more progress on Sheltie, and with that, Sheltie’s Spawn is now more liveable than before thanks to our biggest termite session so far. The roads are also going a bit further out than before now. On Retriever, there hasn’t been much progress since last time, but we held our first race event there and it was successful. Once again, thank you to those that participated and congrats to the winner of it all H_Di_Chemici. If yall want another race event, let me know -Tyr. Last update did not feature new graphs on the wiki, sorry about that. It will be fixed for this month

== CSC Updates ==
We finally have an HQ woo!!! A huge thanks to ItsDaCreeper for completing the HQ build in Survival, which was originally designed by Elasmotherium1. Speaking of which, we want to wish Elas the very best as he departs from the CSC Team, thanks for all the hard work! Elsewhere, progress has been slow and steady, with a few extra ports being built such as the one at Cape Di Chemici on Sheltie and at Termite Bay on Retriever. Sheltie Spawn Port also continues being built, expect an opening for that soon! Until next time Cyberdogs![[File:CSC Akita Spawn Port.png|center|frameless|700x700px]]
Tyrantrumgodhttps://dogcraft.net/wiki/Rules/nlRules/nl2024-03-12T14:43:54Z
Skelleton123:

Algemene Community Regels{{anchor link|general}}

<nowiki>*</nowiki>''PG13: Parental Guidance 13.

* In privéberichten mogen andere talen worden gesproken als de ontvangende partij daarmee instemt.

==== #3 – Geen spam of trollen. ====

* De grens die we trekken voor spammen in tekst is “maximaal 3 van hetzelfde teken op een rij”. Als je de limiet overschrijdt, zal je contact krijgen met een moderator die je waarschuwt en vraagt ermee te stoppen. Herhaaldelijke overtreding kan resulteren in een officiële waarschuwing.
* Steeds hetzelfde herhalen wordt ook gezien als spam.
* Spam omvat: letters/cijfers, overmatig hoofdlettergebruik, misbruik of overmatig gebruik van kleuren, misbruik van lettertype en overmatig gebruik van regeleinden.

==== #4 – Geen reclame in het openbaar. ====

* Het adverteren van servers, websites en producten is niet toegestaan in de openbare chat.
* Als iemand je om een website-link of Discord-uitnodiging vraagt, kan je dat in een privébericht doen.
* Het adverteren van winkels/verkoop van diensten op de server in de openbare chat is niet toegestaan. Als je iets wilt kopen in een winkel/dienst, kan je hiernaar vragen in de chat. Als je wordt gevraagd naar een product/winkel in het spel, kan je op de vraag reageren.

* Het is niet toegestaan om meerdere accounts (‘alts’) te hebben op de website, server of Discord. Als je betrapt wordt op het gebruik van meerdere accounts, wordt één ervan verbannen. Als je een tweede account gebruikt om een ban te omzeilen, word je hiervoor ook verbannen.
* Het is niet toegestaan je account met anderen te delen. Alles wat er op jouw account gebeurt, is je eigen verantwoordelijkheid. ‘Ik ben gehackt’ of ‘mijn zusje heeft het gedaan’ zijn geen acceptabele redenen wanneer de regels door jouw account worden overtreden.
* Als je geen toegang meer hebt tot je Minecraft-account, informeer dan een moderator.

==== #7 – Respecteer alle andere spelers. ====

* Behandel iedereen met respect, in openbare chats en privéberichten, ongeacht de reden.
* Als je het gevoel hebt dat je gepest wordt, neem dan contact op met een moderator en geef gedetailleerde gegevens over het pesten in kwestie. We voeren een nultolerantiebeleid tegen (cyber)pesten.
* Maak de persoonlijke gegevens van anderen (naam, leeftijd, locatie, enz.) niet openbaar zonder hun uitdrukkelijke toestemming, en vraag spelers niet om dergelijke informatie.
* Als iemand je vraagt om hem/haar met rust te laten, respecteer dan zijn/haar verzoek. Val andere spelers niet lastig in privéberichten.
* Alle door spelers georganiseerde groeperingen en projecten moeten ook respectvol zijn en de regels volgen.

* Het maakt je vatbaarder voor het overtreden van regels, het is voor je eigen bescherming.
* De regel geldt zowel voor spelers als voor stafleden.

Dogcraft.net Minecraft Server-specifieke Regels{{anchor link|server}}

* Bouw niet binnen 100 blokken van andere bouwwerken of claims zonder de uitdrukkelijke toestemming van de eigenaar. Het is raadzaam om nog meer afstand te nemen, om ook ruimte te bieden voor uitbreiding achteraf door jezelf en anderen.
* Mijn geen grondstoffen binnen 100 blokken van andere bouwwerken of claims.
* Bouw geen aanstootgevende, obscene of anderszins ongepaste constructies.
* Als je een vraag hebt over een gebied, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met een moderator of een hoofdmoderator. We controleren graag de omgeving op bouwwerken of activiteiten van andere spelers.

==== #12 – Grief en steel niet. ====

===== Stelen =====

* Neem geen dingen mee die niet van jou zijn.
* Niet-geclaimde bouwwerken en kisten vormen hierop geen uitzondering. Als het niet van jou is, raak het dan niet aan.

===== Griefing =====

* Verwijder of wijzig geen bouwwerken die niet van jou zijn zonder de uitdrukkelijke toestemming van de eigenaar.
* Beschadig de natuurlijke omgeving in de buurt van iemands geclaimde gebied niet.

* Respecteer openbare ruimtes zoals het winkelcentrum, de spawn gebieden (wereldcentrum), het hoofdeiland in ‘The End’ en openbare voorzieningen/transportnetwerken.

===== Spawn =====

* Je mag dichter bij elkaar bouwen in de directe omgeving van Spawn (gedefinieerd als 300 blokken van waar spelers spawnen). Claims die binnen dit gebied worden gemaakt, mogen in totaal niet meer dan 625 claimblokken bevatten.
** Het bouwwerk hoeft geen ‘vierkant’ te zijn, maar mag niet meer dan 625 blokken beslaan.
* Vraag een hoofdmoderator om hulp als je je bouwwerk groter wilt bouwen dan een gebied van 25x25 als deze zich binnen 300 blokken spawn bevindt.
** Misbruik van deze regel wordt niet getolereerd (bijvoorbeeld: bouw geen muur van 125 blokken lang en 5 blokken breed!)
* Als er onvoltooide, verlaten starterbouwwerken zijn binnen de 300 blokken radius van spawn, worden deze verwijderd door Hoofdmoderators.
* Geen farms in spawn.
** Geen villager breeding.
** Geen mob farms.
** Geen farms voor dieren.
** Geen akkerbouw.
* Bouw geen grote pilaren in de buurt van Spawn, zoals die om je elytra te activeren of als uitkijkpunt.

===== The End =====

* Je mag obsidiaan alleen van het hoofdeiland van The End verwijderen als je de draak onmiddellijk daarna terug laat verschijnen (respawn) en doodt.
* Vervang alle endstone of obsidiaan die je vernietigt terwijl je het hoofdeiland van The End gebruikt, en ruim alle tijdelijke constructies op die je daar bouwde.

===== Startersdepots =====

* Startersdepots worden gedefinieerd als plaatsen waar nieuwe spelers items kunnen verkrijgen die door andere spelers zijn gedoneerd.
* Het is verboden voor startersdepots om de volgende voorwerpen uit te delen:
** Diamanten voorwerpen
** Netherieten voorwerpen
** Elytra
* Wij vragen dat alle startersdepots zich beperken tot het enkel uitdelen van voedsel en basisuitrusting.
* Verdeel geen uitrusting die beter is dan ijzer (iron).

* Bouw geen farms en gebruik niets met redstone-automatisering in het winkelcentrum.
* Artikelen die door de server worden verkocht voor Dogcraft Dollars mogen niet worden verkocht voor minder dan waarvoor je ze hebt gekocht (bijvoorbeeld: miniblokken, armor stands).
* Veroorzaak geen overbelasting van de server (lag) in het winkelcentrum.
'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' is the first station on the Retriever South Line, part of the Retriever [[Survival Railway Network|SRN]] on [[Survival 6]]. The station was designed and built by Retriever South Line Manager {{Player|Montenator}}, with lot's of help copying the build into survival from {{Player|Edhellan}} and {{Player|Proud_Looney}}. It would be amongst the first set of station to open on Survival 6, opening alongside [[Canal Station]] and [[East Station (Sheltie)|Sheltie East]] [[East Station (Sheltie)|Station]] on the 9th of February 2024.
==About The Station==
Golden Station is a medium sized SRN station, designed out of relatively easy to gather resources as it was built in the early game. It sits at the foot of a large mountain range, at the edge of a large basin south of the spawn area. It was chosen as this was the first large piece of flat land south of Spawn, and lots of bases were anticipated to be in the area. The line itself between [[Grand Central Station (Retriever)|Grand Central Station]] and Golden Station is one of the most scenic in the SRN's history, travelling along a giant natural gorge. The lines summit also marks the highest y-level an SRN line has been built to.

The station features a large central tower, flanked by two smaller towers with rectangular platforms connecting each of them. The station features two main line and 2 branch line connections, although this can be increased if needed. The main walls if the station are framed with oak logs, with gradients made from mud, stripped logs, sandstone and bamboo being used to fill the rest. The roofs of the towers are done with cyan terracotta, textured with acacia logs and smooth stone. The platform canopies are made from mangrove and granite slabs, with supporting pillars with pots as their base being used to hold them aloft.

The station's namesake comes from a large golden light at the top of the central tower, made from texturing yellow concrete, honeycomb, glowstone and raw gold. A trademark south line flag sits atop this roof.

The lower floor consists of small amenities nestled in each of the 4 cornice alcoves. A [[Monty Coffee]] is found in one, a rest area in another, station utilities in the third and a timetable found in the last. Travelling up the spiral staircase the player finds themself in a small landing roof where maps, the station log book and the [[Nether Transport Network|NTN]] Portal are located. 4 side doors take the player out to small balconies to overlook the station and its surrounds. Travelling up the staircase further, a bedroom can be found with several beds to help skip the night. A final ladder takes players to the very top of the tower, which is a good elytra take off point.

The station currently features one complete branch line connection to the base of {{Player|HeavyDork}}, [[Black Tower]]. Other branch lines such as one to the base of {{Player|Locketeer}}, the base of {{Player|Chriizsich}} and the base of {{Player|Dyonamik}}, Vernazza Villa, have also been proposed.

==RHN Connections==
The Retriever Spawn Turnpike, built by {{Player|_Shako}} passes by Golden Station at its southernmost extent. Across this road opposite the station, a small [[Road and Horse Network|RHN]] Shelter was built by ''Montenator'' to serve the station. Further along the road, ''Locketeer'' also built a small travelers Inn near her base.

Waters Edge Station, or Waters Edge for short, is a SRN station on the Sheltie East line on the Sheltie world of Survival 6. It is located on a beach approximately 2300 blocks east of spawn, near the base of {{Player|Buzzmegged}}.

The station is the second station on the Sheltie East line and is the connection point for the South-East section of the ring line.

=== Design and Construction ===
The station is designed as a beach house and is completely elevated on wooden posts. The station was designed specifically for this location after {{Player|XPModder}} had determined this beach to be the ideal place for his second station.

Being located on a beach, the design decision for such a beach house was quickly made and soon inspiration was found online. After building [[East Station (Sheltie)|Sheltie East Station]], which is really big, XPModder decided on a relatively small scale for a station.

Due to the station being elevated off the ground and on wooden posts, the minecart system used in SRN stations could not, like usual, be located underneath the station. Therefore the minecart system used in this station was specifically designed to fit the rather unusual shape and space requirements here. As such, the minecart system is actually located on the top floor in both sides of the building. Additionally the rail connections are actually located on 2 different levels, with the 2 mainline connections being located on the lower floor, facing north and south and the brachline connections being located on the upper floor, both facing east.

The station also includes a CSC port, due to being located directly next to a ocean. A small dock is connected to the station via the front path.

The station was constructed in survival by XPModder, mostly using surplus acacia from East Station and dark oak from chopping the trees in the location of both East Station and Grand Central Station.

The line connecting the station to East station was also constructed by XPModder in only a couple of days after the station had been finished.

=== Opening ===
Waters Edge was opened in a big opening event together with the Grand Central Stations on both Sheltie and Retriever on the 3rd of march 2024.

The opening started at Retriever Grand Central Station (RGCS), built by {{Player|Minda905}} with a ceremoneous cutting of a giant ribbon in front of the station. After this all attending players explored the station and participated in head hunt, where 8 of a special miniblock had been hidden throughout the station and needed to be found. Players finding all 8 hidden miniblocks could receive one such miniblock as a prize.

After players had some time to participate in the head hunt, they moved to Sheltie and Sheltie Grand Central Station was opened. Here another head hunt with a different special miniblock took place and players explored the entire station.

Finally the attending players made their way to East Station, with some riding the rail line and others using elytra, horses or other means of transport. With everyone at East Station, they then started travelling the new line to finally arrive at Waters Edge and thus Waters Edge was also officially opened.

Just as the opening seemed to arrive at its conclusion, {{Player|renthedog}} himself joined the server and the crowded voice chat and came to the station.

This made Waters Edge the first SRN station of Survival 6 to be visited by rendog!

After rendog had explored the station, everyone made their way back to East Station and then further back to Sheltie Grand Central Station, as rendog wanted to also visit both Grand Central Stations. After he had explored both Sheltie and Retriever Grand Central Stations he further explored Retriever Spawn town visiting the RHN shelter and then the CSC port. Everyone then travelled by boat and then by road from Spawn port to Termite Shelter and then to the Retriever NTN, where rendog visited the NTN Hub.

The entire event ended up as a huge success and one of the most memorable moments of Survival 6 so far!
Xpmodderhttps://dogcraft.net/wiki/East_Station_(Sheltie)East Station (Sheltie)2024-03-04T14:37:39Z
Xpmodder: Created

The Sheltie East Station is the first station on the sheltie east line. It is located in a small dark oak forest next to a river approximately 1400 blocks east of spawn on the Sheltie world of Survival 6!

=== Design and Construction ===
The station exterior was originally designed by {{Player|XPModder}} as a potential design for Sheltie Grand Central station, but later a different design by {{Player|Skelleton123}} was chosen to be used as Grand Central Station. The interior of the station was largely designed by {{Player|H_Di_Chemici}} with some adjustments later made by XPModder to better fit its new role as a 'regular' station and to integrate the other transport networks.

When the decision was made to use Skelleton123's design for Grand Central Station instead of this one, the design was already basically complete. Due to this and the amount of work already put into it, XPModder decided to use the design for the first station on his line, the Sheltie East line.

After the location had been found and the area was flattened, the station was finally constructed in survival by XPModder with help from {{Player|Proud_Looney}} and thanks to a lot of generous donations from various players. Notably {{Player|Xambaka}}, {{Player|tijnybricks}} and {{Player|maddy_monster}} donated large amounts of materials to the construction of the station.

=== Connection to the SRN and other transport networks ===
After the station had been mostly finished a build session was hosted by XPModder and H_Di_Chemici on the 17th of January to build both the Sheltie South and East lines and connect this station to the, at the time under construction, Grand Central station at spawn.

As this station is located next to a river, XPModder also built a dock in front of the station and included all the requirements for a CSC port in the station. With this, the station also became a official CSC port.

Additionally a small stable was built into the station, also making it a RHN shelter. Two RHN roads are directly connected to the station. One main road, running in East/West direction to eventually also connect to spawn, as well as a second road, starting at a T-junction on the North-West corner of the station, which runs south-west to {{Player|mrkalaspuff}}'s base.

Like all SRN stations, this station is also connected to the NTN via a nether portal on the ground floor.

With connections to all 4 transport networks, the station proudly presents the banners for all the networks on both sides!

=== Trivia ===

* As the station was completed and opened before the End dimension was available, for the first month of its existence the station was actually missing a number of end rods, that are used both as lighting and for decoration in various places. The end rods were finally placed shortly after the End had been opened.
* Due to its size, even with all 4 transport networks, a considerable amount of space on the top floor was left empty. This space is now occupied by XPModders personal storage system and smelter array. With this, the station now also functions as kind of a base for XPModder.
Xpmodderhttps://dogcraft.net/wiki/The_Dogcraft_Howler_-_February_2024The Dogcraft Howler - February 20242024-02-23T23:32:32Z
Summerflower1234:

== Uploading one's consciousness ==

Since [[Happy Villagers Inc. 2074|Elysium 2.0]] was launched, the boarder to the digital world became more and more fragile. Uploading one's consciousness presents a plethora of enticing possibilities, but it's far from a seamless or risk-free endeavor. The officials have yet to react with new regulations. There are many issues to keep in mind:

====== Technical Challenges: ======
* Incomplete Uploads: The complexity of the human mind might lead to partial or fragmented uploads, resulting in loss of identity, memories, or even emotional capacity.
* Data Corruption: Glitches, errors, or malicious attacks could corrupt uploaded minds, leading to unpredictable personality changes, mental degradation, or even digital imprisonment.

====== Ethical and Philosophical Dilemmas: ======
* Loss of Humanity: Does uploading a consciousness truly preserve an individual, or does it create a mere copy stripped of the physical experience and human connection?
* Digital Inequality: Access to this technology might be limited to the wealthy and powerful, exacerbating social and economic inequality in the real world.
* Digital Rights and Agency: Who owns and controls an uploaded consciousness? Can it be manipulated, exploited, or even weaponized against its will?
* Existential Crisis: Facing immortality in a digital form might lead to profound existential questions and anxieties about meaning, purpose, and the nature of reality.

====== Social and Political Issues: ======
* Corporate Control: Corporations developing upload technology might have undue influence over uploaded minds, raising concerns about digital slavery and mind control.
* Ghost in the Machine: Uploads might blur the lines between human and machine, leading to discrimination against those who choose digital existence.
* Overcrowding and Resource Strain: A potential influx of digital consciousnesses could strain resources and lead to competition for digital space and rights.
* Mind Theft and Identity Hacking: The ability to access and manipulate digital minds could create new forms of crime and exploitation.

====== Unforeseen Consequences: ======
* Technological Singularity: Uploading consciousness might trigger an unpredictable evolution of [[wikipedia:Artificial_intelligence|artificial intelligence]], potentially surpassing human control and posing an existential threat.
* Digital Pandemics: Viruses or malware targeting uploaded minds could spread rapidly, causing digital mass destruction and chaos.
* Break from Reality: Dependence on the digital realm could lead to neglect of the physical world, potentially hastening its decline and jeopardizing humanity's future.
=== Project DRT (Dogcraft Rules Translation) ===
To have this a bit organised I had to look up on some data. I looked at all the players that logged into the server since sur6 started. I compiled the origins (country) and came up with a list of 9 languages that could help out more players getting into our community with more ease.

Together with English that would mean people will be able to read up on the rules in 10 different languages:

# English
# Dutch
# German
# French
# Spanish
# Portuguese
# Russian
# Afrikaans
# Swedish
# Polish

If you are interested in helping out, I have compiled a list of all the Languages that need translation and need proofreading afterwords as well. I already started on the Dutch version as an example.

People will be able to comment on my translation document, but not edit. That way the translation stays with one person and suggestion can be made by others using the comment system of google docs/drive.

Be carefull when you edit the Master sheet. For now we are using it to translate the rules page ([[Rules|https://dogcraft.net/wiki/Rules]]), but if successful we could do so much more in the future to help out new players. If you are enrolling to do a translation, please fill in your name and once your google doc has been created, add the link to the table.

Same goes for people proofreading documents once they are done. If there are any questions, please, discuss in this channel. Hope we can pull this off true dogcraft style, before we even got started

{{Fa|link}} The translation sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V0eSlR0RhDStYvcfI1hnoAeLAesAzCTxH3dvTYNQxW8/edit?usp=sharing
Happy Translating
== NTN Updates ==
Heyo! The NTN has made a LOT of progress during February. Most importantly both hubs are finished! We are so glad to have achieved this amazing milestone for survival 6 and we wouldn’t have been able to complete it without the help of the wonderful contributors who kept us stocked with donations. As a result of completing the hubs, we were able to host two amazing opening ceremonies where everyone was able to join us to celebrate the amazing work of the world managers. We had fun hiding heads and throwing T-shirts, Tatties and most importantly… mika cookies at all who came. Lots of people came away with prizes that will become true collectibles for this sur. The CDNN released a video for the new survival world featuring a clip created by the NTN. Lots of questions arose about the true identity of the presenter and we’d like to take this moment to reaffirm that it was 100% definitely GG all along. We were so happy to see the positive reception this got and we have seen an increase in participation in our weekly dig sessions as a result. Speaking of Weekly dig sessions, we’d like to note that due to managers' availability, we are moving our dig sessions to Saturdays at the same time! Of course, should you wish to dig and build the tunnels in the network you are more than welcome to do this at any time! Please help us, we are so tired omg.
== SRN Updates ==
Hey Cyberdogs! The SRN has continued to make a lot of progress on both networks throughout February! We had our first opening event of Survival 6 on the 9th of February where Golden Station on the Retriever South Line, Canal Station on the Sheltie South Line, and Sheltie East Station were all opened by their Line Managers! In addition to this, the first branch line on Sur 6 would be completed on the 14th of February, with HeavyDork connecting his base Black Tower to Golden Station. In other news long time conductor of the SRN expedtadam would step back from the position this month, but is staying on as Line Manager for Sheltie North. To replace him, Montenator was chosen! Elsewhere, progress has continued on the Grand Central Stations, with Sheltie GCS now fully complete and Retriever GCS fully functional. Progress has continued on several main line stations such as Sheltie West by Skelleton123, with eybwam and darparniox continuing work on extending out their main lines. _Maddy_Monster_ and tijnybricks have also completed a station to serve their base, anticipated to be connected to Retriever South 2 and then on to almondnik and Sn3akst3r’s Foosha Village. Many more branch lines have been planned out on both Sheltie and Retriever, and we are well on track to creating the most expansive networks the SRN has ever seen! See you next month for more updates!
== RHN Updates ==
Slowly and steadily, Shako has done more work on Retriever’s spawn roads. The Beltway or Turnpike should now be fully done. We have also started on going out from Spawn on both the West and East sides. These roads are still in progress, but bear in mind that there can be dead ends here and there on some roads.We have also started making more progress on Sheltie, and have now a Spawn Shelter put up. We would also like to announce a new member to RHN, and as you probably have seen, it is none other than locketeer. Please welcome them into our family. In other news, to our termites, a shelter to honor you has been made by locketeer. After each session, a list inside the shelter will be updated to feature everyone that has been a termite! Last update from us at RHN is that a race across Retriever Spawn is being planned. What rules and how it is going to be done is coming on a later date. So make sure to get a horse ready. This has been it from RHN this month, take care.
== CSC Updates ==
The CSC has seen a couple changes in personnel this month. Montenator has stepped down as Captain and now holds the position of Master Navigator on Sheltie. XPModder has stepped up and taken up the captaincy of the CSC in his place. Additionally NeroTheImmortal has joined the CSC team as a new Master Navigator on Retriever. The CSC also made some great progress with ports, especially on Sheltie! Both the ports at SRN Canal Station in the south as well as SRN East station in the east were opened together with the rail lines in a big opening! We used the rail lines to travel from spawn to Canal station and then continued by boat to East station to finally close the circle by returning to spawn on the east SRN line. Speaking of Sheltie Spawn, construction was started on Sheltie Spawn Port and is already well underway, with the dock and foundation for the building being complete and the building itself still being under construction at this point. With this much progress, you can expect an opening of the spawn port soon!
'''Spawn Shelter (Sheltie)''' is a build on the [[Survival 6]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]]. It is a shelter for those who travel the [[Road and Horse Network|Road And Horse Network]] roads.

==About==
Spawn Shelter (Retriever) is the first shelter made on Survival 6 and on Sheltie. It can hold up to 36 players, marking it as one of the biggest shelters ever made. Near it, stands SRN's Grand Central Station and as well CSC's Spawn Port.

== History ==
After Retriever has gotten up and running in terms of roads and shelters, it was time for Sheltie to get roads and shelters as well. TyrantrumGOD then began tearing down trees near the GCS to make a platform for the shelter. After that was done, a lot of dirt was needed in order to lift up the terrain to match with an already made road not far from the shelter. When that was done, Tyr started construction and eventually after 6-7 hours, the exterior portion of the shelter was done. Couple days went by without progress, but it was finally done on February 15th 2024 and is waiting upon opening to the public.
The '''Million-Wheat Project''' is the [[Survival 6]] base of {{Player|William278}} and {{Player|marbou9}}, located in [[Sheltie]]. The project entails the terraforming of the entire plains biome covering the temperate subcontinent, approximately 5000 blocks north of spawn, into farmland growing wheat. In the center of the base is a large snowflake-shaped walled structure that will house various infrastrucutre, storage, and farming facilities. Public donations are accepted for wheat seeds to aid the construction effort at a staging area in the north-west of the project area.

== History ==
The base area was founded on the launch day of Survival 6 by {{Player|William278}}, who was joined by {{Player|marbou9}} in the following week. The idea of terraforming a wheat biome was inspired by the previous effort in [[Ouranos]] on [[Survival 3]], in which a desert biome located close to the city limits was terraformed into a similar wheat field, and provided a nice approach for rail travelers entering the city. Claim pillars were erected around the plains area to reserve the area for terraforming and a staging area was setup. A donation center (entitled the ''Svalmarb [[wikipedia:Global Seed Vault|Global Seed Vault]]'') was opened to accept public donations of wheat seeds to complete the project.
Williamhttps://dogcraft.net/wiki/The_Threebridge_IncidentThe Threebridge Incident2024-02-06T17:52:28Z
Xambaka:

==About==
The Threebridge Incident is the continuation of the [[Threebridge]] story from survival 5. The theme is based on a scientific mishap gone terribly wrong changing the land and terrain.

==History==
Many years later as the villagers of Threebridge advanced in techonology they started a scientific facility to start engaging in research. During this time they had discovered a spore that was placed in extreme quarantine. One day wardens broke through the surface and descended upon the scientific facility releasing the spore. Quickly, the people escaped their home and the region was put under quarantine.

Several generations later, their descendants returned to investigate the land and perform experiments. When they returned they found the land completely covered in the spore. The flora and fauna as well were infected. They managed to obtain the wardens in containment. Experiments are cautiously done and they are assumed to be infected. The three bridges that marked the village are now gone. Much of the land unrecognizable from before. The waters have changed and the area has become an island of its own.

Staff at the Threebridge incident had quickly established Operation Point, the staging ground for arrivals and departures from the incident. A bunker was formed to house the initial scientists and their belongings. An observation building was built to house phantoms and ravagers. It is believed the phantoms may not be infected and staff hope to find a cure.
'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' is the base of {{Player|H_Di_Chemici}} on the [[Survival 6]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]].

==About==
Cape Di Chemici is located in the Nort-West corner of the Threebridge sea. This tropical island surrounded by a cliff on both the East and Southside of the island give it much needed cover for the harsh winds blowing through the valley opening it is located in.

[[File:CapeDC1.png|left|thumb|The bridge connecting Cape Di Chemici with the mainland]]

The sandy beach, home to the sheep people who enjoy their vacation away from the busy Capetown (not started yet). Surfing and hanging out in the sun is one of the major activity's on the island. There is also a tikki bar located on the beach overlooking the west side of the bay it is located in. On the beach near the cliff is a campervan located which {{Player|H_Di_Chemici}} calls his home. This van is equipped with absolutly nothing, but has a barbeque in the front always grilling fresh fish.

[[File:CapeDC23.png|right|thumb|H_Di_Chemici in front of his van]]

The massive bonfire in the centre of the island is one of the favorite locations were the sheep people tend to hang out often. This beacon of light gives of the warmth and satisfaction that their busy lives in the city cannot give them.
Scattered around the island you can additionally find as well: 2 boats, a life sized sand castle, a campfire with 4 chairs around it, a washed up boey and a beach umbrella giving shade.

For convience the Cape is also connected to the outside via various roads and soon a port and shelter as well. The road on the Northern side of the island is Kingdom road and connectes to both [[Canine Kingdom]] and {{Player|TheChrisKratter}} kingdom. The currently unfinished road on the southern cliff is planned to go to Capetown and {{Player|SparxTH}}'s oriental themed base.

==History==

Cape Di Chemici was founded on the 16th of December only 2 hours of the start of survival 6 during the launch event. The island with a village on it was split down the middle, one side being plains, the other being a beach biome. {{Player|Xambaka}} and {{Player|CactusBrother}} had found the island on their way towards their moushroom island 800 blocks South East of the cape and were willing to give it up as long as they could keep some villagers for themselves. ''H_Di_Chemici'' agreed, not having a base location nor plan yet for a base this was perfect. Being both close to ''Canine Kingdom'', A minigame area he leads together with ''Xambaka'' and {{Player|XPModder}} and to the base of ''Xam'' and ''Cactus'', 2 people ''Chemi'' already knew.

[[File:CapeDC9.png|left|thumb|The island during the decorating progress]]

After a decent start on day one ''Chemi'' started on a road towards ''Canine Kingdom'' with a basic diamond shovel on day two. He wanted to get there quickly incase the home command not working wouldn't be resolved in the upcoming weeks. Then a few days after this and having completed [[Canal Station]] on the Sheltie South-line Chemi decided to continue working on the island instead of leaving it empty. The idea arose of making it a tropical beach island with handmade cliffs, something he had already done in his [[Survival 5|survival 5]] base [[Cliff Garden]].

Over the upcoming weeks ''Chemi'' would work on the island in bits left and right: making a part of the cliff, building a grass top and turning the plains into a sand beach. Now that the basic canvas was completed he could start painting with detail and refine some of the previous build things. All this detailing included: 18 custom made big palmtrees, a bunch of boulders, a custom pathway going north to south on the island and a Campervan that he had designed months prior to the launch.

[[File:CapeDC14.png|right|thumb|The sandcastle]]

After this a harder fase started, trying to remove all the torches on the beach and cliffs. The ones on the cliffs were swiftly taken care off by placing a moss carpet on a froglight in the ground. For the beach ''Chemi'' had to be a bit more inventive. Using carpets as beach towels with hiden lighting, tikki torches near the road and lights hidden in the rocks spawnproofed the majority of the island. For the rest, bigger details were added in: such as boats, a tikki bar and a sandcastle.
'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' was the third station on the Corgi North Line on the [[Survival 5]] [[Corgi]] world on the [[Dogcraft Server]]. It was built by {{Player|H_Di_Chemici}} over just a day in a big push to complete the Corgi Rail Network before the end of Survival 5.
==About The Station==
The station was initially looked out a the site for the awards ceremony of the [[Station Competition]]. The plan being a purpose build award area would be built there which would also serve as a station. Unfortunately these plans would be dropped due to the announcement of a server reset and the area would go unused. In a final push to get the Corgi Network finished in September 2023, it was found that a station would need to be built there to serve as a connection point for {{Player|Mika_Panda}}'s [[Train Station]]. As well as a connection for {{Player|Maple39}}'s branch line to his base.

Being pressed for time, ''H_Di_Chemici'' built and connected the station over a period of 24 hours. In this day a bit more than 3 hours was spent freehanding the stations design in survival. Another 2 hours was spent building the NTN connection and the floating bed platform in the sky (this makes it so snow can't fall there). After that the line connecting it to [[Ramon station]] was also built during an equal period together with: {{Player|Xambaka}} and {{Player|Cosm1c_Moonl1ght}}. The station itself blends in tastefully with the surrounding snowy taiga, and while smaller in scale, contains all the needed amenities a station should have. The main platform area contains to connections, one southwards to [[Ramon Station]] and another northwards to Snowy Slopes Station. The platform area is decorated with barrels and built primarily from dark oak.

The building itself is made from combinations of spruce and dark oak wood, with deepslate foundations and a snow block roof. The windows are decorated in a pattern resembling a snowflake. Inside there is several beds surrounding a fire and a small bar area with a rainbow sheep taking orders behind the counter. This interior was based on a cabin ''H_Di_Chemici'' once spent an afternoon during a vacation in the High Fens nature region in Belgium. The central fireplace is traditionally not placed in a corner but was the most important thing in the room and pulled people in sitting around it in high numbers. A [[Nether Transport Network|NTN]] portal can be found out the back of the building down a small dirt path.
'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' is the base of {{Player|Creeper_Duck}} on the [[Survival 5]] [[Akita]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]]. The base is in a fantasy style, making heavy use of purple coloured blocks in its design. It is based on an ancient civilization whose magic slowly corrupted the island they lived on.

==About==
The base is decorated with lots of colour and interest. Several fantasy themed towers levitate in the skies above the base. On the western end, a ravine has been decorated with large geodes, equipped with machinery and conveyor belts for the miners to excavate the area. On the southern end of the base, a brightly decorates plaza can be found with small townhouses with cozy interiors. To the east, a small tavern is equipped with a dock along the bank of the river. Here players can travel along the river by boat to reach [[Tropical Station|Tropical Station.]]

A giant plant with mushroom caps of different colours makes up the centerpiece of the island, nearby, the largest building can be found, the great library. It is decorated with spiraling floors lined with bookshelves and lanterns, containing ancient history. The whole island is decorated with custom trees and veins of corrupted magic, a river also runs through its center, with textured rock banks.
'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' was the base of {{Player|Rhothan}} on the [[Survival 5]] [[Shepherd]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]].

==About The Base==
Started by ''Rhothan'' in late 2022, the base aims to replicate the tower of the same name from the Elden Ring games. This features two imposing towers, made out of deepslate and other dark accent blocks, connected by a giant viaduct. The towers themselves contain just a handful of large rooms, with a giant library with staircases and platforms spanning many floors being located in the smaller tower, above a large pool of water. At the top of the tower, a large telescope can be found. The larger tower contains to huge atriums, with the upper one being decorated with a pattern of blue glazed terracotta and sea lanterns.

A small building at the base of the towers, with a purple glass roof, contains a sorting system for farms, while the shell of the building that would have become Liurnia Station for the SRN is located nearby. Despite Liurnia Towers proximity to SRN Lines and RHN Roads, it would not be connected to either by the end of Survival 5. The base of {{Player|Wanderer07}}, [[Rome]], is however located a thousand or so blocks south of the base, and Temple Station, built by {{Player|Skelleton123}} can be found a few hundred blocks north.
Time Station was a station build on the [[Survival 5]] [[Shepherd]] world on the [[Dogcraft Server|Dogcraft Server.]] The station was built for the [[Station Competition|Station Building Competition]] by {{Player|Orphelia4}} in August 2023, where it would receive 2nd place in the competition. Despite the station being complete, it would not be connected to the main Shepherd [[Survival Railway Network|SRN]] in time before the world reset.

== About The Station ==
Build with a Victorian aesthetic, Time Station was situated in the Southeast segment of the Shepherd Ring Line, in between [[Pagoda Station|Pagoda]] [[Pagoda Station|Station]] built by {{Player|Elednor89}} and an unfinished station started by {{Player|PerskyPuff}}. As the name suggests the station heavily used the concept of time its design, with the floor of the central atrium being a giant clock face. Large clocks also adorned the walls on the inside and outside of the station. The building itself was roughly rectangular in shape, with each corner being marked with a small tower. The roof was made of deepslate, with a glass skylight in the middle. The walls were built primarily out of brick, terracotta and mud, with smooth sandstone being used as framework in the build.

The whole station is built to look derelict, with leaves growing on the exterior walls, and a wallpaper peeling effect by dispersing brick walls in places breaking up the green terracotta interior walls. A large glazed terracotta mosaic could be found at both ends of the station, with small bridges crossing the river the station is build near to allow players to reach both entrances. Some light landscaping work was done on the outside too, with small trees being built and some mud being places at the riverbank.

The interior of the station is comprised of a single large atrium, with spruce concession stalls and ticket offices breaking up the space. Sandstone staircases lead up from the central area to a second floor balcony level, providing great views of the station interior. An [[Nether Transport Network|NTN]] portal is also found on the second level.

Due to the station being built late in the season, it would sadly never be connected to the main SRN network. Not wanting ''Orphelia4''<nowiki/>'s efforts to go to waste though, the station was visited at the end of the last station opening on the 27th of September 2023, alongside Pagoda Station, to give players a chance to appreciate the builds despite them not being fully connected to the network.
'''Green Coast Station''' was a station on the [[Akita]] world on [[Survival 5]]. The station was built by {{Player|Paulchen007}} at their base, and would make up a station on the Akita Ring Line as part of the [[Survival Railway Network]]. The station would open to the public on the 27th of September 2023 alongside [[Sunbeam Station]] and [[Northeast Station (Akita)|Northeast Station]]. These 3 stations would mark the final opening and activity of the SRN in Survival 5.

== About The Station ==
Situated in a jungle biome, the station was fairly rustic in design, featuring stripped spruce framework with a moss block roof, with a small domed tower stretching out beyond that. The walls were predominantly made of andesite. The station itself was raised on a stilted platform, with all the redstone being located underneath. The stations interior was basic but functional, with a singular atrium containing 2 minecart terminals, with the walls adorned with network maps, maps of the area and bed benches for sleeping. Facilities like ender chests were also provided. A central bubble-vater took players upwards to the top of the elytra tower. An [[Nether Transport Network|NTN]] portal was also found in the main atrium.

Situated next door to the station building was an [[Road and Horse Network|RHN]] Shelter, featuring more intricate roofs made out of deepslate, but an overall similar aesthetic to the station. Ultimately due to Survival 5 ending shortly after its construction, the RHN would never make it to ''Paulchen007''<nowiki/>'s base. Speaking of, the base was located approximately 100 blocks to the west of the station and shelter, which featured a similar rustic style with lush greens to reflect its jungle setting.

Green Coast Station was a part of the Akita Ring Line. It only had one completed connection, that being the one towards Northeast Station, the line of which was started by {{Player|Montenator}} and completed in a Line Building session. Another connection was planned to head south towards [[Reservoir Station]] on the East Line, but due to the imminent end to Survival 5, this line was never completed, although it was started on the Reservoir Station end.
'''{{{{{|safesubst:}}}ROOTPAGENAME}}''' is a public minigame project on the [[Survival 6]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]].

==History==
After the resounding succes of [[Puppy Park]] in [[survival 5]] the parkmanagers: {{Player|Xambaka}}, {{Player|XPModder}} and {{Player|H_Di_Chemici}} decided to make a minigame area again on survival 6 learning from their mistakes to make it even better than last server. The parkmanagers intrested in a larges swath of flat plains or moushroom land had their dreams come true when the [[dynmap]] came online before the launch of survival 6. This meant they could spot potential areas before even stepping a foot on the server. Quickly the location was decided, a plains biome in the southeast of the [[Sheltie]] subserver. This was perfect for them because ''XPModder'' and '' H_Di_Chemici'' are part of the [[Survival Railway Network|SRN]] linemanagers team for the East-and Southlines respectively.

In less than an hour after launch ''Xambaka'' together with basemate {{Player|CactusBrother}} got to the wanted location and started claiming the massive area quickly. Soon after ''Chemi'' and ''XP'' completed their day 1 SRN duties they followed swiftly to the location and secured the border to make sure nobody else could call it theirs.
On day 2 after launch ''Chemi'' decided to work on some roads from his base [[Cape Di Chemici]] towards Canine Kingdom. He wanted to make sure he could always get there quickly from his base whenever he needed the transport materials (at this point the /sethome command had a bug and was unusable). In the following days afterwards the roads where laid out for the northwestern most distriction together with the 16 plots that could be filled by games. These plots ,generally bigger than the ones in Puppy Park are far less limiting in size and can be adjusted if a game is smaller or bigger.

==List of games==
The list of games is made to see how many amazing (mini)games have been built in the park by various people. Later down the line this will be split into the seperate districts.
==About The Port==
The port is located in a plains biome north of the main Spawn basin on Retriever. Currently it sits across the road, opposite from [[Spawn Shelter (Retriever)|Spawn]] [[Spawn Shelter (Retriever)|Shelter]] for the Retriever [[Road and Horse Network|RHN]]. The port surprisingly is not built near any body of water, and it in fact is elevated some 50 blocks above the water level, due to the nature of the terrain. To combat this, a custom built pool was built outside the canal, two canals connect to this pool, one bound for the north and the other for the east (not yet constructed). The north canal travels through a tunnel underneath a small hill before breaking out on the surface again and descending into a natural cave via a ladder system. The ladder system is designed to be as simplistic as possible, with bubble-vators raising boats up a level every 6 blocks. Eventually the ladder descends into an aquafer within the cave, before another small tunnel takes the player through to Squid Bay, which has access to the wider rivers and seas of the server.

The port was designed in October 2023, in anticipation for an imminent release of Survival 6. The design work was postponed when it was revealed Survival 6 would still be some time away, and was revisited in early December 2023 by ''Montenator'' and ''H_Di_Chemici'' who, along with ''XPModder'', would finalise the design for the port.
== History ==
Shuone (朱尾根) translates to Vermillion Ridge. It is named after the prevalent red sand of the mountainous badlands biome that lies to the island's South and that occupies the Southwest of the island itself. It was founded by {{Player|Edhellan}} and {{Player|Plastic_Cactus}} during the first week of Survival 6. Edhellan occupies Shuone Island, while Plastic_Cactus occupies the neighboring peninsula to the Northeast, where they plan to create large flowers.
'''Spawn Shelter (Retriever)''' is a build on the [[Survival 6]] world of the [[Dogcraft Server]]. It is a shelter for those who travel the [[Road and Horse Network|Road And Horse Network]] roads.

== About ==
Spawn Shelter (Retriever) is the first shelter made on Survival 6 and on Retriever. It can hold up to 36 players, marking it as one of the biggest shelters ever made. [[Connected Seas Coalition|CSC]]'s Retriever Spawn Port is built on the other side of the shelter.

== History ==
TyrantrumGOD wanted to build a shelter so people could have a place to stay at during nighttime. He then claimed an area next to CSC's Spawn Port on Retriever and marked where things were going to be. Xambaka then built both a jump tester and a speed tester for players to test out their horses and see how good they are. While that was being built, TyrantrumGOD started designing a huge shelter on the [[Creative|Creative World]] of the server, and is one of the greatest designs he has made. Xambaka helped on the design by giving ideas and showing builds of their own to inspire him. Then a couple days went by and the design was finished, so he started gathering materials to build the shelter. Slowly the shelter was built and done after 3-4 days of both planning, designing and building it. It opened up to the world on January 6th 2024, and there were so many people there, that 2 nights were skipped during the opening.
