Erebus ( prounounced air-eh-vaws) is a vibrant city in progress located in the End Dimension on the Dogcraft Server, Survival 3. The city was founded by 
dmgdog who was quick to ask friend, 
TrainerMoon to assist in the planning and running of the city. Erebus is not currently open to the public. The opening however is planned for the beginning of 2020, in which fun mini-games and competitions will run throughout the day to celebrate the opening to the public. This event will similar to the Ouranos opening day.

History
The idea of building a base in the end dimension was something founder, dmgdog had been thinking about for a while. However initially, dmgdog planned the city to be a solo project. On the 10th December 2019 dmgdog found an island on which he thought would be perfect to situate Erebus in. After posting a screenshot of the map on the Cyberdog Nation Discord Server, other players were intrigued about the idea of having a city in the end dimension, since it hadn’t been done before on Dogcraft.
The Team
A few days after dmgdog started work on the island, he realised that the project would be too large to complete alone, so he set up a Discord Server to be able to communicate with other players about the project. TrainerMoon was appointed as a second mayor, to help organise and watch-over the project, to assure the city ran as smoothly as possible. After an announcement was made, looking for people to join the build team, three eager players, TxpMC , Kingcreeper1, and expedtadam all said that they were interested in helping prepare the city for the opening. On the 24th December 2019, TheWhiteTigerNL was appointed as the fourth builder of Erebus.
Initial Planning
After the build team was assembled, everyone was excited to get started, however dmgdog struggled to clearly present his initial plans and ideas about the city to the other builders which led to a small amount of confusion and curiosity. It was decided that the city would be split up into 3 main sections; The Main City, the Rural Area, and the Mountainous region.
A mini-game area was also added to a connecting island, where games will be built for the opening day in 2020.
Work began on the server as dmgdog, Kingcreeper1, TxpMC and helper, 
nossi345 flattened the terrain in preparation for building the city.
This was followed by creative building, where the team built a mock landscape and started to design the town hall.
Final Plan
After two months of development in Erebus, dmgdog finally decided on a conclusive plan for the layout of the city. Erebus will be divided over three end islands.
The Main Island
The main island, called The City Of Erebus. This will be where all the plots players can claim will be. It is home to the Town Hall and other important buildings. To the South lies Mushroom Meadows; a more rural landscape covered my magical mushrooms. Over time we will implement custom mushrooms to enhance the uniqueness of the city. To the North, where the mountain was going to be constructed, will be another forest of mushrooms. However if plots fill up quickly, dmgdog has decided that he would add more plots in this area.
The Minigames Island
To the South-West of the main island is the minigame area. This will be home to four fun minigames that will be running throughout opening day in February 2020. This includes parkour and mini golf. The islands are connected by a path surrounded with foliage and mushrooms.
278 Studios
278 Studios is the island to the West of the main island, an idea from 
William278. Here is the location of one of the many exciting events that are soon to be announced for Erebus Opening Day. The two islands are connected via a colorful bridge designed by William278.
The Town Hall
The town hall is the center-piece of the island, where information about the city, offices for the builders and founders, and storage/utilities for the builders to use whilst building the island is located.
After many unsuccessful attempts at designing the town hall himself, dmgdog asked the build team to help him. TxpMC and expedtadam combined elements of both their designs to create a stately, but practical building. The hall's palette consists of endstone bricks, smooth quartz variants for the walls, and purpur for the roofs. The interior is a cozy and modern design, with the use of vegetation to add colour to the build.
On the ground floor, there are two signs located at the rear of the building, displaying important information about the city. In addition, there is also a gift shop, a set of toilets, and the map of the city.
The first floor consists of 5 office spaces, free for Erebus Builders to design with a cafe and common room area.
dmgdog and TrainerMoon's offices are located in the central tower on the second and third floor respectively.
The basement is for access of the build team only, however there is viewing access from the ground floor in the form of a glass window. The basement has a storage area for city projects and a super smelter.

Other Builds
Erebus Bank
A colorful and modern build located next to the town hall, in the heart of the city. Built by expedtadam, it includes 3 teller stations, a comfortable viewing platform, a high security vault and a private entrance into the Builder's storage room.
Erebus Gas Station
A petite, classy gas station built by TxpMC to the side of the town hall. Fine quality gas is sold here and a very affordable price. This build can also be seen in the server mall, as Txp's plot.
Erebus Fire Department
Erebus Fire Department (EFD) is the home of Erebus' fire station. Built by TxpMC, the build is located opposite the gas station. This building utilises the traditional red brick fire station design. It houses one fire truck, a common area for the staff, uniforms and a pole for quick access to the truck.
During January 2020, there was an explosion at the fire station. Research carried out by the Erebus Police Department (EPD) found 
Pigeon_Confirmed guilty of this crime after admitting it to Commissioner dmgdog. He was handed an official warning.
The Diner
Opposite Erebus Bank, stands currently, the only eatery in Erebus. The style is traditional of a 1940's American Diner. Built by TxpMC, it was inspired from a Lego diner set that he found an image of. Popular menu items include milkshakes and burgers.
The Hotel
This grand hotel facing the plaza was built by TheWhiteTigerNL. Competing in height with the Town Hall, the build is a stunning piece of architecture that is still currently under construction, as it is waiting for the interior designers to take the long trip out to Erebus.

Erebus YouTube channel
On the 2nd January 2020, Erebus created there own YouTube channel.
Under the command of TxpMC, this channel will be used by the city to give the players an idea of what Erebus is all about. As of right now, the channel is not yet public. We plan on premiering the channel in the form of a 'trailer', followed by the announcement of Opening Day for the city. More videos will follow in the future such as:
- A tutorial video, where all the important things you need to know will be told.
- Update videos about the city.
- And even it’s very own news program.

Erebus radio station
On January the 6th, Erebus started their own radio station called (E.R.S).
It was founded by: dmgdog , TheWhiteTigerNL , Kingcreeper1 and expedtadam.
On this 6th of January is when they had their first music call which lasted a shocking 9 hours.
Currently, a radio station building is being built to host many more music calls throughout the year.
