Leon Oldtown Station, or Lower Oldtown Station, is a station on the Shepherd East line on Survival 5. It is an origin station that connects the Regency of Leon to Elysian Meadows and Sunshine Harbor to the south. The station also acts as a through station toward Leon Central Station, that means the main line runs through it but does not stop. Leon Oldtown Station opened to the public on the 10th of September 2023, as part of a Mega Opening that saw five other stations open.

A First

The station's conception was colorful in its history, as being an official through station was unprecedented for the network. Negotiations between Leon's City Planners and East Line Manager 20.png Slomo_1994 primarily revolved around the practicability of having more than one official stop at Leon, other than Leon Central Station. Suffice to say, multiple diagrams were drawn and redrawn to navigate this situation. Eventually, a decision was made that put it on the record as a first in the network's entire history.

Design

Leon Oldtown Station sat right at the border of Leon. Designed by 20.png strawberrysham, the primarily material used for construction of the exterior was weathered copper.

Inside, the building assumed a fairly open layout with a tall atrium and skylight. Ancillary features such as crafting tables, ender chests, and stonecutters were tucked to the sides. Seating came in the form of beds. Network maps were posted onto boards, as well as a maps of the surrounding area. There was no NTN connection for this station. Ticket booths were also made by 20.png Thewhitetigernl as a decorative feature.

Serving as both origin and through station, a set of parallel tracks ran through it.
