Site 0 - Operation End is a base on Survival 5 world (Corgi) of the Dogcraft Server, that is currently being built by Orphelia4. It will tell the story of Operation End, carried out in that area by a group of scientists, and its unfortunate end.

Buildings

The base consists of two main buildings – living quarters and the lab – and a few smaller buildings that contain farms (mud and clay farm, bee farm, moss farm, lava and dripstone farm). All the buildings will be surrounded by a swamp-like area.

Lore

The beginning

A long time ago, an adventurer stumbled upon a strange but fascinating phenomenon. In the ground, there was a cavity filled with dark but sparkling matter. It was mesmerizing - once looked at, one could not tear their gaze away, the feeling of being swallowed by an endless night sky washing over the person. But just as beautiful as it was also dangerous. Hypnotized by what he saw, the adventurer took a step toward the cavity. He slowly came closer to the edge, unaware of his surroundings, feeling waves of energy pulling him. And then he fell. But contrary to what many would think, he didn’t hit the ground nor die upon touching the dark matter. Or maybe he did? - because what he saw after finally becoming conscious felt like the end of the world.

The arrival

Two years after reports of a man going missing in strange circumstances, a group of scientists arrived at a newly built research site - Site 0. It was constructed around a cavity filled with unknown dark matter. Scientists were tasked with studying this discovery and hopefully finding some clues about the disappearance of the adventurer.

Operation End

Over the next few years, many tests were run in the lab. Researchers sent machines equipped with cameras and sensors into the cavity. They discovered that the dark matter acted like a portal to a different dimension. The other side seemed... empty, devoid of any life. Sky was always dark, covered with millions of stars that were the only light source. If you stared at it long enough, it started to look like the dark matter from the portal. When something entered it, it landed on one of many floating islands made out of some type of yellow stone.
