The Survival Railway Network (SRN) is a server-wide railway service with the aim being to provide a high quality rail transport service by building four main lines in each cardinal direction and coordinating the connection of player 'secondary' lines to these main lines, while ensuring a scenic journey for travelers.[1]
The project can be found in both Survival 1 and Survival 2.
Origins
The SRN was first built to satisfy the demand for a transport service on the original Survival world. Mr_Dawgie and _edo, both predominant builders in Spawn City at the time, began the project with the Grand Central Station building serving as Grannydog's Monument in the world and used the building to start an expansive network throughout the world.[2]
Worlds
The SRN originally based their network in the Survival world, however later moved to Survival 2 when the new world launched.
Both networks are widely considered to be one of the most impressive feats on the server and between them span hundreds of thousands of blocks.
Although the original network can still be visited on Survival 1, it is no longer managed or maintained actively.
Nether Transport Network

The Nether Transport Network (NTN) is the nether-based counterpart to the Survival Railway Network, which is based on hyper-speed transportation using the mechanic of boats placed on packed ice to get around quickly. Just like the SRN, the NTN can be accessed from a variety of locations across the server and is present on both Survival 1 and Survival 2.
Many SRN stations in both worlds have connecting NTN stations allowing for flexible transport between destinations.
Management
The SRN is currently managed by darparniox, who was promoted to Conductor of the SRN after _edo resigned from the project for a break. Mr_Dawgie would stop playing in addition. This led to less activity on the line however thanks to improved communications using discord the network has risen to further prominence on the Survival 2 world.
